Chuck D & Mr. T

Huck is a really good herder and while I feed the babies in their room and MJ baths the boys and we get everyone in bed, she sits at the top of the stairs, keep her flock inside the “gate.” Good job Minky Mink.

Huck hurt her knee so hasn’t been going out with Nick this week. I take her everywhere in the car with me now so that she has something fun to do. And she doesn’t even bark in the car because of her very effective electric collar.

MJ has been planting a pot of bean seeds with the boys. They are literally growing in front of our eyes. I had no idea beans grew this fast. MJ is obsessed with them. MJ also went out with some dads in the neighborhood tonight and is now sitting here staring at the beans. He really admires them.

I have started asking Charlie very specific questions about his day, “Who said something funny? What was the scariest thing you saw all day (it’s Halloween)? What did you do a very good job of dong?” He really thinks, smiles, then answers.

The boys will not go right to sleep at night when we put them down and Teddy keeps jumping out of his crib and falling on the floor, and trying to get in Charlie’s bed. Last night as I was rushing to finish feeding the babies and run out the door to get to Charlie’s class parents potluck, I saw the light on in the boys room. I went in and they were standing there trying in mittens. I said “It’s not time to play with mittens right now. It is time to sleep.” Teddy creamed, put his head in his hands (as he often does) and sobbed “No, mittens!!!” Mittens? Mittens at 7:30 pm when you are exhausted?

The boys eat maple syrup on their oatmeal and when we ran out Siri bought some Aunt Jemima kind which they had never seen before.

ALB: “Teddy, I love you. I love you so so much.”

Today I had to take Teddy to the doctor with me and have him sit on my lap while they did a procedure on my foot. I was screaming in pain. He was wearing batman costume. Squeezing him actually made me feel better. Thanks for helping me Teds.

Scottie and Nell had all their friends over for a baby breakfast yesterday. So many babies in da house. So cute. So very cute.

I cannot get enough of these kids. I am in love with each of them. They are all so different yet all soooooo sweet and cute and wonderful. I didn’t know it was possible to be this happy.
