Charlie has been refering to Q-tips as “contips”, not that he uses them and has also been telling me quite a bit what is possible and not possible. He told today “It’s not possible to draw at school because there are no tables.” This also happens to be not true.

Charlie is really into saying things are “not fair.” And when I served him lunch today he said “Want to eat cookies. Not fair I have to eat this lunch.”

Today Charlie went to his dentist. He loved it and was so pleased with the entire thing and getting a tooth brush, tooth paste, stickers, and dental floss to take home. He actually wanted to stay and play video games in the waiting room.

Charlie started sleeping in a bed a few weeks ago. The first few nights were great and he went right to sleep. Then he realized he was free and started waking up in the middle of the night, getting dressed, and coming into our room saying “I’m awake. I don’t want to sleep badly.”

Charlie and Teddy LOVED December.

Over Thanksgiving Charlie “played” his first game of ping pong and in his first football game.

When I took Charlie to the cathedral the other day, he said “Seeing a show!” I said no, just getting something from the gift shop and visiting the garden and he burst into tears and said “Seeing Nutcracker show right now here!!!” I got him a snack and let him run around the Bishop’s Garden and it seemed to make him feel better.

Teddy looks like he fell into the Horchow catalog.

Today Deirdre and Bridget had Charlie and Teddy over to make gingerbread houses with their cousins. Charlie and Teddy could not believe their great fortune to be able to play with Bridget and have unbridled access to bowls of candy.
