Huck works very hard. Very hard. Her constant barking and herding may be annoying at time-even most of the time- but I’ve never known a worker to be so passionate about her work. We take her to the park or waking through jam pond and she makes sure no one is alone for a step. Once at home she some times takes time off. You will notice she is off the clock by her laying in the floor with her head under a chair as a sign of “do not disturb.”

Teddy (as 3 friends leave from a play date at our house that’s ended) crying “I don’t want them to go. I don’t want to be alone!!!”
ALB “But you have three brothers and sisters inside. And two babysitters. And two parents.”
Teddy “But I also need two play dates”

Obviously Teddy loves having as many kids in the house as I do.

Grandpa Allan helped teach Charlie to ride his bike without training wheels this weekend. It reminded me of Dada Bayly teaching me to ride my first two wheeler–it was red. I crashed into a tree when he let go but it was so much fun. He also taught me to tie my shoes, ride a pony (and not get kicked), and pick blackberries when I was really little.
