Charlie was thrilled to have people over this evening to watch the Redskins. He drew pictures of Robert Griffin III and we taped them to the door.

The girls say “Lella Lella” to mean Cinderella or really any princess. They also have taken to saying “here,” as taking your hand when they want you to go somewhere or sit someplace.

Teddy: “The bubble in my butt popped.”

Teddy loves saying and hearing “I love you.”

I worry I’m not reading enough parenting books. I try to always have one in reading so in always learning but they go so slowly.

Is it that he wears navy rain boots all the time or that he loves honey and Winnie the Pooh? Either way teddy reminds me o Christopher Robin. And Roo. And Pooh.

We are trying to spend more on one one time with each child. I had the nicest day with teddy jumping on moon bounces at Josh’s birthday. Good workout for mommies.

Charlie: “Charlotte Bear sits in the front seat of her car. She can drive. She drives to school. And she drives home. And she drops her brother off. That’s not fair. Why can Charlotte drive and not the other kids?”

Tonight I read Miss Manners response to a parent asking how to get her three and five year olds to write thank you notes. What she suggested was almost verbatim the conversations I have with teddy and Charlie.
