After I went to a shower teddy and I took a nice walk in the woods. I try to have one on one time with each child. It’s so hard to have enough time with each one. We went climbing around trees that has fallen in the storm. So much for the tights and skirt I was wearing.
I did yoga this morning on the dloor in the boys room while the babies played around me. I close my eyes and feel totally at peace stretching while I hear and feel the activity of the babies doing what they need to do (mostly climb in and out of a basket and take Teddy’s underware out of his drawer. It’s usually Nelly and always Teddy’s drawer).
Both girls are and have always been so happy and just love life. Everything elicits screams of glee (especially watching the blender and anyone entering the front door). I mean real shrieks. And I often join in and shriek with them.
Scottie is forever saying “whoa!” Or “wow”about everything. I can’t hear it enough.
And I love how Nell throws her hands up in the air like she is on a roller coaster. If MJ comes home for instance, the girls spin around and waddle into the other room one yelling “woah” and one screaming with her hands in the air. So great.
Five years ago tonight I got to snuggle Charlie the minute he was born (and the first thing I told him was “I love you.” It is like I had always loved him for my entire life. Totally indescribable love It is so deep and so strong and constantly growing. And I wasn’t truly me until all four of them arrived.)
Teddy was such a brave patient today.
Charlie continued to adore his candy.
Scottie was infatuated with Roman who was here to paint.
Nelly kept throwing her hands up with excitement and squealing in delight (I so frequently feel like doing that too).
Why does dinner involve teddy trying to stand on his head wearing a clone trooper costume in the other room while everyone else eats?
