Whenever Scottie is upset Nell comes over, even walking in from another room, to see if she is ok and offer her something to soothe her. Today it was a tiny silk bag. Often it is one of Nell’s bunnies. The sweetness and generosity is staggering.
Teddy “A deer died.”
ALB “Where?”
Teddy “So sad.”
ALB “That is sad. You like deer.”
Teddy “We can have a pet as a small one? That’s a good idea. I love deer. I need a pet. I need a deer. A small one”
Before Charlie went to sleep tonight he had to build a wall of stuffed dogs around his bed. I love this stuff. I also love when they litter my bed with them.
Charlie “If there is an award contest stage we should bring our babies there because they know how to turn on the TV.”
I order about 30 pairs of shoes for the girls to try on. When I opened the box they screamed with delight. The first pair I tried on them were gold with little cat faces (like the Marc Jacobs mouse shoes) and were way too big but when I tries to take them about both girls went crazy. So they got to keep ten. The next morning we caught them kissing the shoes. Be still my heart. They are also both excellent shopping companions. I like taking the individually for the all-important and beloved by mother and child one-on-one time.
Sometimes when Scottie is upset nelly will come over and give her one of Nellys bunnies.
In the back to school night slide show Charlie winking hilariously and Teddy was wearing a watch and looking so grown up.
I put the wigs in a shoe box, stuffed them in the back of the closet and then cried. So emotional.
