Marilyn said she watched Nelly try tickling Scottie’s back today and when she asked her what she was doing, Nelly crawled off laughing. I love that they have senses of humor! Both girls are really funny and silly and so cute and beautiful.

This morning I played basketball with Charlie. He shot the ball into the basket I made out of my arms. It was really fun. He was learning that if he kept looking at where he was throwing the ball he had a better chance of making the basket. Then he’d be silly and close his eyes and try to make (almost successfully a few times). I love playing with him.

I took Teddy swimming yesterday. We play Ninjago in the water where He pretended to be a Lego ninja and I was an evil snake.

Scottie and Nell were really excited to be in the pool again. And to help garden.

I have found in potentially difficult or awkward discussion, bring up a sliver of the topic and let the children lead by asking whatever questions they want and giving then specific information in small amounts. Works like a charm.

I’m thinking of ways to make the children’s rooms and beds more comfortable for them…pillows, blankets, candy?
