Yesterday Teddy asked me to sing him a song about it being ok if you drop something.
Don’t worry if you drop it
Mommy will pick it up
Don’t be sad if it falls on the ground
Mommy will bring it around

Last night we couldn’t find Huck. Finally MJ spotted her in our neighbors house where they were having a party. They had invited her in and even put her on a leash.

Margaret, the babysitter across the street took Charlie and Teddy to play with ted lacrosse goal in their back yard. A dream come true.

I took Teddy to Full of Beans today and I looked away for one minute and when I turned back to him he was totally naked in the middle of the store, holding a bathing suit saying he wanted to put it on. When I said he had to get dressed he went crazy. The only way I could calm him down was to buy him the bathing suit. It is really cute, with crabs and coral on it.

Later, when we were on Columbia Road buying a Mexico soccer uniform for Sarah’s Cinco de Mayo baby, Teddy started crying because he couldn’t get one since I didn’t have enough cash. He looks so cute and sad when crying that people on the street were stopping (as usual) and a man came over and said he would help us pay for Teddy’s jersey (he accepted my credit card at his store down the street and gave the jersey vendor cash for me). Teddy was thrilled.

Imagine.

I try to have equal numbers of pictures for each child. Sometimes I wonder if Charlie has fewer pictures because he is out of the house at school more than the other kids. Huck has more than one would think because she sits so still and is so good at posing.

When Teddy spills something on himself he says “There’s a problem.”

After baths tonight, Scottie and Nell had a really fun time playing with pillows, stuffed animals, and blankets with Teddy in the boys’ room. Teddy had fun piling blankets and pillows on Meaghan.

Teddy, Scottie, Nell and I were so sad to miss Hannah’s bat mitzvah today but so happy that MJ and Charlie got to go. The silver lining was that I was able to spend two days having quality time with Teddy having a sleep over in my bed, going to flower mart twice (he rode the carousel three times yesterday and once today), Meaghan’s soccer game, McDonald’s, the ice cream store, shopping for soccer jerseys, and on a walk. I really miss Charlie and am waiting for him to come back right now.

I can’t believe how many sounds Scottie can make.
