I know Teddy is missing Siri and feeling a little unsteady during the transition because he has started carrying around his bunny even more and sits it on the table next to him and pats it. Charlie told me yesterday he wants a bunny like Teddy’s.
The girls wore bow barrettes for the first time this morning. I couldn’t resist.
When Siri left last week I was a bundle of tears. So was Siri. Charlie knew exactly what to say “Siri, I want to make you stay here forever,” and”Siri, don’t cry because you will be happy when you come back.” I told Siri being far away will show her how much an important part of family because she will see how despite distance we are still in touch and love her so much.
Scottie is trying so hard to sit. She gets so frustrated. The same way Nell was so frustrated a few weeks ago. Scottie does an amazing job doing side plank tho. Her arm, ab and legs muscles must be powerful underneath those cute rolls of chubbiness. (Pictured with beloved babysitter, Emily).
Nell totally sits up and crawled 4 beats? movements? the other day. She also says dadadadada. Go Nell.
Nell pretty much sits up- getting there from a twisting position. And she can crawl from one end of her crib to another. She is thrilled. Scottie is on her way there.
I cannot get enough of Scottie shaking her head “no”. She does it over and over again while looking directly at you with her huge eyes and a little smile.
Ignoring the chocolate and marshmallow brownie on his plate, Teddy sat there eating crutons.
