Charlie and Teddy got their Halloween costumes last week and I have never seen them as excited about something before. They have worn them every day and they are already falling apart. I bought back ups in case their are ruined by Halloween and so friends can come over and dress up too. Charlie keeps telling people when he has his Spiderman mask on “Don’t be scared, it’s just me Charlie!” So cute.

Tyler was telling Charlie the other day about the sandman and how he comes into your house at night, leaves a pinch of sand in your eyes, and leaves. Charlie said “He needs to go to jail.”

I was telling Charlie about high and low voice sounds. As we were talking he said “And a side to side voice?”

Charlie came up to me this morning and said “I’m an artist!” I said “Great!” Then I saw that he and Teddy and taken crayons and drawn all over the entire hallway. I mean all over it then ran upstairs and continued with the bookshelf, the sofa and Teddy was about to hit a framed map when we caught them. We handed them damp cloths and made them clean up with us which they thought was really fun, so I suppose not much of a deterrent from future crimes. Actually not a deterrent at all since 2 hours later they along with their friend Reed took off all their clothes and covered themselves and the hallway floor in paint.

Scottie and Nell have their baby hair falling out and their fuzzy 12 week old hair coming in (both go out in the stroller together).

They really liked celebrating their first high holidays.

I love how Teddy loves “Winnie the Pewwww” and “Pea-erabbiiit.” It’s so sweet. Today at a friends he saw a Peter Rabbit stuffed animal and got so excited “Mommy, Peae-erabbiiit!”

He also now loves a baby batman doll and a Winnie the Pooh stuffed bear that he sleeps with in addition to his longtime love “Bunbun” the rabbit. We have an extra Bunbun in case of emergencies on the top shelf ofthe boy’s closet. Teddy saw it today so I had to get it down. He put both rabbits together like they were kissing and said “Friends!” I am dying from the cuteness.

Scottie just does not stop smiling. And when Nell was at the hospital the other day, they kept saying she was the happiest patient they’d seen because she wouldn’t stop smiling at the doctors.

One of the amazing things about Charlie is that he is so naturally inclined to be inclusive and always eagerly asks friends to play or to do something with him. It is so great. (Having fun with cousins Bridget and Milly).
