We went to Montrose so MJ could play snow football and Charlie could sled in the snow with his friend Reed. C insisted on getting his own cup of snow to join the grown ups who were drinking cups of snow with vodka (grownups excluding this one).
Today Charlie was really grumpy after his nap and wanted me to hold him. I had to pick up Tedy too because he was also crying and C yelled out “Mommy hold no two boys.” Poor C.
The first night of the storm M Street was totally empty. Look at the lonely City Tavern Club. Teddy spent the time cozy inside playing with his toy.
There has been a major magnolia massacre throughout the neighborhood due to the snow. It is so sad that so many trees have been hurt (not so sad about our next door neighbor’s bush which broke but I didn’t like it anyway. Neither did he).
Charlie and Teddy went to a dance party as a benefit for Concerts in the Park. Teddy was really good considering he was in a loud bar for hours and had been there early helping his mom set up.
Please note:
1. Charlie danced a lot with Jack, who else? Teddy tried to dance with Katie.
2. Charlie and Garrison were behind the bar, which is something I really wish they wait a few more years to do. Teddy tried to talk to Westie.
3. Charlie liked the step and repeat so much he kept demanding “More pictures.”
4. Charlie got a medal.
Charlie is really the Great Communicator and can pretty much tell us anything is 4-6 words sentences, though he still gets frustrated when he can’t get his point across. It must be so hard to be in that position. He get particularly frustrated when trying to tell us what he wants to wear, which is usually a jersey. I wonder if he is always going to be so opinionated about clothes. MJ says they are little and wear clothes too big for them, then the clothes are too small, then there is a brief period where they fit into clothes perfectly, then they wear clothes purposely too big. Then they go thru a Euro phase where they wear clothes too small again.
