All Teddy does is laugh and smile and kick. Even the pediatrician says he has a great personality. He’s even up for wearing antlers and being the reindeer to Charlie’s Santa (C believes Santa hats are not optional. “Santa hat, Charlie wear it. Santa Man.”

Charlie is now asking, and sometimes demanding, “Party, Charlie party. Chips, cookies.” Party maniac. Reminds of someone else I know.

Charlie has been carrying his stuffed reindeer around with him and wants to talk about reindeer and Santa all the time (he sometimes thinks snowmen and santa are interchangeable). He got to go visit Santa at the mall today and was so excited , but then was disappointed there were no reindeer and kept asking “reindeer? reindeer” and looking around. Also, he would have nothing to do with sitting in Santa’s lap.

He also went to a holiday party–and when i told him he got so excited and started yelling “Party, cookies, chips!”

Today Charlie had the afternoon of his life playing in the snow with his favorite neighbors, the older boys Jack and Dylan.

Charlie likes to make Teddy, and other babies for that matter, laugh and then yells “baby happy!”

So sweet.

Charlie helped his father “shuble” the snow, went sledding for the first time ever, played with his friend Walker, and asked to eat “cwean know”. He had the best day (despite the tears again over wanting to wear the baby’s miittens). MJ and I were so desperate to walk around in the snow at night but couldn’t get a babysitter so we just stood outside the house in the snow for an hour like weirdos. But it was really fun.

T’s had his first spoonful of sweet potato, the first food he has ever eaten, 3 nights ago. He loves it and after just 1 night of eating it, he started to cry for it when we all sit down to dinner. So cute that he wants to join in.

C has enjoyed all 8 nights of “Honka,” as he calls it. The first few nights he kept saying “Happy Birthday” and tried to blow out the candles, but by the 6th night he could say “Baruk atah adonai,” and ask for a present. He also was very excited when Barkey and Johanna came for latkas and babka, loved getting driedle and mennorah stickers, thought wearing his helmet would add to the festive feel of the week, and had fun opening presents at Mitzi and Grandpa’s. His big present was a kitchen. T got many tiny presents for a tiny baby.
