Teddy doesn’t like his car seat too much but at least he looks good in it.

It is amazing to hear Charlie learn to talk and to use words I can’t believe he knows. I have never hear a voice so lovely, saying things like “ice,” “bunk bed,” “I want this one Daddy.” And he actually practices phrases as though he were an adult learning a second language. Today he was in the back seat saying “uh huh, uh huh” over and over in different inflections. Then when i joined in and said “uh, huh” he quickly said “stop, mommy.” And went right back to practicing.

T cannot get enough of C. Just watches him all day. And when he’s eating if he hears C he pulls off and strains his little head around looking for C.

Today I noticed for the first time Charlie playing an actual imaginary game with little toy people and making them talk. He was playing with pirates and a pirate ship and animals in a barn, but had the 2 pigs on the pirate ship and one knocked at the door and the other said “Who” and the one at the door said “Nick” and then the one coming in said “pizza coming”! So adorbs.

I just tried to explain dreams to Charlie by saying that a dream is like a story in your head when you sleep. Right away he said “Daddy dream soccer.” C, you are a genius.
