ALB “Teddy, look at this picture of a bunny I took right outside our house.”
Teddy “When I grow up send this picture to my phone. Will it go straight to my phone? Will it be on my phone already? How does that work? I’m getting a phone with a batman case.”
ALB “I’m writing above about this because you don’t have a phone get so I can’t send it.”

Mother’s Day was perfection- waking up with snuggly littles in my bed, walking Huck, eating pancakes made by our professional breakfast chef (due to one summer cooking on Nantucket), playing with little animals in the girls room, going to the Corcoran to see an exhibit that both Ms McCoy and Ms Byrne are in, seeing the Blue Man Group compliments of Mitzi and Grandpa (the boys and Scottie loved it. Scottie was standing and dancing in her seat), lunch outside at Occidental Grill, a walk in BK, followed by early bed for the children and a walk for me, Huck and MJ and then lounging with MJ under the moon in the backyard. I loved every minute of it. And I love the artwork they gave me and the cute shirt and bracelet.

Mother Teresa said it, “Be happy in the moment, that’s enough. Each moment is all we need, not more.”

I hope a lesson that the kids learn is to be inclusive, that you can always for one more for dinner -just pull up an extra chair, that is better to share whatever it is than to leave someone out, that even including an annoying friend on occasion can make people feel good and put more happiness out in the world. I really really hope I can get this across to them.
