We read Peter Rabbit all the time, we watch the TV show, we talk about him and his friends and we are very afraid of “bad Mr Tod” that mean fox with the sharp teeth. Today in ballet class the dance was Peter Rabbit complete with bunny ears to wear but Nelly got slightly scared as she was doing the dance by the thought of Mr Tod “Him have bad teeth. Eat rabbit. Not nice.”

MJ built a house.

Tonight’s date was perfect. We walked all the way down to MacArthur, looked at the Reservoir and walked home through BK, sat out in the back watching for rabbits (one seen), then played a little soccer in the yard. So easy. So relaxing. So fun.

We had so much fun at Lucy and Teddy’s egg hunt yesterday and at Deirdre’s (where else can I show up late, with one child naked because they were just car sick and two others screaming for candy?). I feel so grounded and like my spirit is lifted when I see Deirdre. She shows so much love to me and my littles and gives them so many kisses and snuggles and I love that they are so drawn to her. She is a great role model as a mother. I feel so at home with her-like the feeling I would have at the Park when I was little.

Happy birthday Huck! We gave her gifts, had hot dogs for dinner and strawberry shortcake (so kindly made for us by Aunt Judy).
