Charlie apparently heard about Adam and Eve somewhere and asked me to tell him about the story. I told an abridged version. He asked me
If they had been real people and I said I didn’t know but that the story was really to teach us about God and how he wanted us to be good people. Charlie said
“Well, there are three lessons from this story: Do what God tells you to do, be a good person, and don’t eat wild fruit.”

Two minutes after he said “Um, I think I’m going to have a nightmare. ”
ALB” Oh, about the snake?”
Charlie “Yes. Are there poisonous snakes around here? Are pythons able to camouflage themselves? What color are boa constrictors?”

Charlie “Mommy, will you help me build a Lego statue of Daddy when he dies so I can remember him? And I can build one of you by myself because by then I will be so old I can do it alone. “

Scottie gets lots of photo air time because she likes to have her photo taken.

Charlie and Teddy called it “eatmeal” and Scottie and Nelly call it “oatmilk.” Oh oatmeal, how you are loved and mispronounced.

Such a fun morning with Aunt Louise, Madeleine and Brian plus John, Jen, Jane and Noel, Tim, Veronica and Johanna and Barquito all over to hang out. The kids all painted their nails, are strawberries and played in the backyard. So nice of them to visit. I wish I could them more often and the kids could play with their cousins.

Charlie’s last basketball game of the season was this morning. Two baskets by him and then friends over for breakfast and more basketball out back.

Leaving for the party last night Nelly said to me “Mommy! Your dress looks pretty! Fashion!!”

Blue Igloo alumni dance party. I think I need to rent a dance floor for the garden and have a dance party here. These people are ready to shake it. I had so much fun seeing friends and dancing with the last night. When we left Scottie said in the car
“My Blue Igloo party. I love it. Them have some dancing, some juice, some
Pizza, some balloons, some popcorn, some lollipop, some lights, some cupcakes, some dancing.”

Then fun dinner at club with Blairs and Cannovas.
