The girls watched the boys wrestling on the sofa and since they like to do what their brothers so, they started wrestling. But then they quickly stopped and started hugging. Oh gender differences.

I think one of the most important things ever and ever and ever is to be fair and kind to the children when you are teaching them. Raising them is really teaching them how to be happy, good people who follow their heart and add goodness to society in whatever way they do. Anyway, fairness…Charlie hit Diana today because he asked her three time to let him cross the street alone and because she didn’t know that at this particular corner across from the Wolin’s I would look both ways and then let Charlie go on his own up to the door, she refused his request. Not ok on Charlie’s part at all. I said to him “I understand you hit Diana.” And he told me what happened and I explained that he must know that that is not acceptable even if she was misunderstanding him or not letting him do what we’d agrees he could do. He realized he was in the wrong so I asked him what he thought his punishment should be and he said to loose half of his allowance this week so I said ok and that would be the punishment. It worked really well. I didn’t have to worry I was being unfair in some way (too tough or too lax) and he felt some control over his actions. I’d like to figure out how to make or work out like this more often.

Charlie is such a sweet big brother. He comes in each night of his own accord to “kiss the babies good night.”

T, N and especially S carry armfuls of important items all over the house. Scottie and Nelly generally don’t head down to breakfast without a pair of underware, a princess gown, some stuffed animals and a figurine. Nelly wouldn’t take a bath last night without her BunBun being placed on the diaper bin as close to the tub as we could get it.
Here are some items that had to be kept next to the bath tonight for S and T. You never know what might happen without those things. In case you can’t see it includes a Cinderella doll, a broken charm bracelet, plastic high heels, green striped ski socks, a furry vest, and a Lego Chima wallet.

Why is it that at least once a day someone poops or wees in a room other than the bathroom and someone shrieks, scream, or whines at least once an hour. Oh my. It sometimes feels like T, S, N are toddler triplets (but don’t call S&N toddlers as T does. It just results in a barrage of “Not toddlers!!!!!!!!! Big geerlsss!!!”
