I remember going to visit Ed Koch when I was young. He’d give me stuffed animals. Such a nice man.

Oh, Kaiser. I still love the tee shirt with your face on it that you did for the first H&M designer collaboration.

The hair in this as campaign makes me think of what I can get S and N’s hair to look like when they don’t mess with it. I asked them “are you going to have this hair when you grow up?” To which Scottie said “yes, ” in an of-course-don’t-be-ridiculous kind of way.

I took the girls to Ishmael at George at the Four Seasons for their first hair cut. He does my hair (and did it for my wedding). I was so excited to take them. Ishmael was so patient and accepted Scottie’s request for “crazy hair” and Nelly’s for “mermaid hair.” Scottie in particular was in heaven. Teddy also had fun. And lots of candy.

c
We had friends from Charlie’s class come to play (and their parents come for drinks and dinner after). It was so much fun. I made a quick little
Scavenger hunt for the kids to do before dinner. Good for a group activity with all ages and boys and girls.

Playing snow soccer with MJ, Charlie and Huck in the backyard was so much fun. It was so cool and heartwarming hearing Charlie call out “Mommy! Mommy!” To get me to pass to him when we were on the same “team”
Against MJ and Huck.
Coming in to see Scottie, nelly and Shirtless Teddy playing “beach” was so much funny. Those three have the best little games going on.
Got to talk a snowy walk with Nelly and Huck. Got to sled with Charlie and MJ. Got to go on the snowy slides at the playground with Charlie in the dark. Got to take a walk with MJ in the snowy evening and that is one of my favorite things to do ever. Got to read the Sartorialist with Nelly. Got to read House Beautiful with Teds.

I’m sitting here next to Teddy who is eating an apple and sounds like a horse doing it. On the one hand that the sound of those little teeth is so cute. On the other hand how do I teach him to quietly eat because well it’s loud chewing. Hmm.
