Yesterday was so nice: Mitzi and Grandpa came and Mitzi made a delish lunch for all and Josh, Becky, Griffon and Will Martin came, then Coco, then Elena, Katie, Jack, Jill, Olivia, Tyler and the three Wolins. We had friends here all day. Total bliss (even with Charlie locking Teddy in his room and Teddy pooping in his trash can, and the lady next door barking at me, and the sconce that was pulled off the wall).

I got to help Teddy’s rainbow class make pretzels for their lesson on Germany. That class is soooo cute.

Bedtime routine involves bathing everyone, chasing the girls to get them in pajamas, visiting the potty 2 times each, coercing tooth brushing, begging Teddy to put on pjs, asking Charlie to start his guitar practice, searching the house for Teddy’s bun bun, reading books to Scottie and Nelly, tucking each in, laying down with each to snuggle and kiss, going into Teddy’s room to read to him and snuggle him (he falls right to sleep), then heading into Charlie’s room to read with him, read to him and then snuggle him. I keep trying to figure out how to so it to spend enough time snuggling each child without keeping them up later than is good for them. How do I do it? I remember being little and really want to fall asleep with my aunts, Mama, father or Kitzy Cat snuggling me.
