Charlie just lost his first tooth (and said to Griffin “Do you think that’s precious?”) What a big week. I am getting misty-eyed.

Back from Sea Island. We had the most fun with the Natis family. We all adored spending time with them. I want to adopt Shen. And Kia. And Noa. We swam, rode bikes, went to the gym, and just hung out. We have now decided next summer we will go to visit them…maybe live in London for a little while. It is really wonderful when you have friends you can travel with.

Before bed I helped Teddy and Charlie clean up. As I was tucking them in Teddy said “Mommy, we made the mess because we were so happy.”
I said “I know you did. It’s ok to have fun and make a big mess. You just need to clean it up when you are done. And try not to break the blinds.
