The kids were watching a cartoon in our bed this morning while I tried to exercise. They all stopped though and had to eat off the bed to investigate when I told them there was an ant walking along the woodwork. They also had to have me hold them for half of my workout. It adds weight but isn’t super effective.

I was listening to an interview of the musician Dominique Pinto and they asked her if she felt more at home in Brazil or in France. She answers that she feels most at home in herself rather than a specific place and since she travels so much as a musician this serves her well. I hope the children have this feeling of being most at home in themselves. It will allow them to feel
Comfortable and confident and go out and explore. I think I was too focused growing up on home as a specific place and therefor not as at ease as I could be. I would have traveled and been so comfortable had I focused on making myself a comfortable “home”.
