The boys are determined to get a Huck a baby for her birthday.
Teddy “I’m going to get a baby puppy thy is black and put it in a box and put ribbon on it and write on it ‘a baby puppy. Happy birthday, huck. “

We went to see the cherry blossoms today (so much fun but why did I think I should take 4 littles in 83 degree weather less than a week after surgery to do that? Because I really wanted them to have the experience)

Anyway, I told them how once a beaver came and chewed some of the trees and knocked them down and he had to be excited to Pennsylvania

Charlie, Oliver and teddy were intrigued.

Charlie “What if the beaver comes back?”
Oliver “What happens if two beavers come back at the same time?”
Teddy “What if 6000 beavers come at the same time?”
Charlie and Oliver “Yeah, what if that happens???”
ALB “They park police and the animal catchers would get a lot of nets and boxes and capture them and take them far away.”

Teddy “Why does your hair has to be all scribble scrabble* like that? Why do you have that hair?”

*a term they use constantly to describe messy lines being drawn.

Teddy really wants to go on a double decker tour bus so I’m taking him on one this weekend. I hope he enjoys it.

Charlie, picking up the mail that has just arrived “Ah! It’s here! This is great-I’ve been waiting for this magazine to arrive.”

ALB “I had no idea you’d be so happy to get the Dean and Deluca catalog.”
