At the Corcoran this morning Teddy walked up to an Anne Truitt sculpture and said “I want to hug it.” It almost made me cry. She was such a wonderful friend to have and for Teddy to get something (unsolicited by me) from her work leaves me so pleased. I hope he gets as much as I do from her work. Charlie had a sees taste test in class that he recreated in the kitchen by having teddy, me and the babies try sunflower and pumpkin seeds and then tell him which we liked the best. He marked down our votes. Pumpkin seeds won with the boys and mommy voting for them. Nell is now way into sunflower seeds and asks “See. More see.”

Scottie lies in the bathtub with her hands behind her head in a lounge position. She also will sneak into the boys room and lounge in the furry chair in their room the same way. She is so good at relaxing.

The boys LOVE having play dates. They want their friends over all the time and ask to go to friends houses constantly. It’s so lovely that they get so much from their friendships and are so happily sociable.
