C liked taking the train to Wimbeldon which was so tiny and cute. And he liked spending a day walking around with Jo, Kaya, and Noa and going to the new library in Swiss Cottage.

Charlie loves the V&A and was particularly interested in the plaster casts. He also loved Hyde Park, the ducks there and the Serpentine Gallery where he saw a Gerhard Richter exhibit and the Frank Ghery installation.
And most of all he loved hanging out with Liz and Caroline.

Charlie walked all over London and had a really nice lunch at the Duke of Clarence. He took the bus which he liked and saw things like Exclusive Orthodontics and a cute little playgroup space–the Blue Igloo of London.

Keith and Lucia had everyone over for drinks and a beautiful dinner at their new house in Fulham. Charlie loved Noa. He showed it by biting her arm.

Charlie has become fast and furious (furrious?) friends with Cashmere the cat and can’t get enough of the cat door. He keeps sticking his hands out through the door and Cashmere comes over and nuzzles them. He also sits and looks at her through the door and babbles to her. He also chased her around and around the tables but she finally let him catch her.

He also became fast and furrious friends with Keith and Lucia (and was so happy to stay in their lovely new house) and with Noa and Kaya.

Today Charlie went to Trinity College, Merrion Square, and Saint Stephen’s Green. Later his parents went to Gelf and Flang’s wedding party in an old Georgian house off Parnell Square.
Also, Carol swears Charlie said “Shake it” today. Shaking anything is one of his favorite things. Carol is another.

Yesterday Charlie open ed up his arms toward me like I do to him when I want him to come over to get hugged or picked up. When I went toward him he laughed and laughed like he had just played a big trick.

Also Charlie has been working as a baggage inspector focusing on Carol’s baggage.

All day long there is lots and lots and lots of
“Where’s Charlie?”
“There he is!”

Charlie went with me, MJ and Carol to Dalkey. He ate a scone from the farmers market, walked down the water, had lunch in a cute restaurant and visited Goat Castle.

Also, today Charlie put the remote up to his ear and said “hi”.
